Pastoral Epistle – Oct 16th 2024

Beloved Congregation,

Greetings in Jesus!

“You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light” Ephesians 5:8

This week is very special in the journey of our church. Our theme for our Centenary celebration is “Let your Light shine!”  God invites each of us to be a shining light for Him.  

Centenary Celebration:  Our grand celebration is on Saturday the 19th at 6.30 pm.  Please pray every single day until Saturday for God’s blessings on our Celebration Service. Pray for our Sunday school, youth and young adults who will be contributing to our celebration.  Pray for our praise and worship team and musicians who will be contributing to our celebration.  Pray for our bishop Rt. Rev. Kevin Robertson who will bring God’s Word to us. Pray for all arrangements for dinner etc. pray for everyone who will be attending our celebration.

Youth Coordinator:  We are thankful for our new Youth Coordinator, Jessy Balendra.  She is a committed Christian with a good testimony.  She serves at St. Peter and St. Simon the apostle Anglican church.  We wish her a wonderful ministry among our youth   

Bible Study:  All those who have successfully gone through the lectures on the Pentateuch will be receiving a certificate.  If you have gone through the lectures, please text me your name at the earliest. You will receive your certificate on Saturday the 19th during our Centenary Celebration.
