Pastoral Epistle – November 16, 2022

Beloved Congregation,Greetings in Jesus! 
“Be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!” ‭‭II Chronicles‬ ‭15‬:‭7
The Lord encourages His people to be strong and not give up because all our work will be rewarded. The Lord is watchful of His people.  
Outreach :  A bigThank you to our  women’s fellowship for organizing our Outreach Fundraiser for ministry in Sri Lanka. I am grateful for our generous congregation who gladly come together to support the various ministries of our Church. 
This Sunday:  Join us this Sunday, in person. We will celebrate The Reign of Christ, the last Sunday after Pentecost. 
Regular Session of Synod:  Our 161st session of Regular Synod will commence Thursday to Saturday, November 17 – 19. Kindly remember this in prayer. We need God’s guidance as we make important decisions at the synod. 
Annual Christmas Celebration:  Kindly mark Saturday, December 10th 7.00 pm to join us in person to celebrate Christmas.  “The Glorious Night … When Heaven Rejoiced….Wonderful songs, music and fellowship.  Kindly begin to invite your friends.

Kindly continue to pray for St. Bede’s:  continue to uphold the various ministries of our church.  Remember our Sunday School Children, our Youth and our Young Adults in particular.  
Especially remember our parishioners who are unwell.  Pray for God’s mercy during these times of sickness.
