Pastoral Epistle – Dec 18 2025
Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.” Psalms 42:5
While many are celebrating the birth of Christ, some of us may be facing various challenges during this season. We join king David and forge forward in putting our hope in God and praising God for his help towards us.
Christmas Cantata: We are immensely thankful to our Lord for the amazing Cantata Service last Saturday. Many expressed their gratitude for the blessing they received at the Cantata.
I want to take a moment to thank our Choir director, Samson who is the recipient of the Order of the Diocese of Toronto (ODT) for his commendable leadership and our choir members for their dedication. Big thanks to James for his many contributions to the Cantata; alongside Centenary String Quartet. A big thanks to Ramya and Jesse for training our children and youth for the shadow play and the manger scene. Thanks to everyone who supported the ministry on Saturday, the welcome team, the tech team, the hospitality team, parents of all the children who participated and last but not the least our dear Wardens for their continued support. All glory and praise to our Lord.
Christmas Tree Celebration: This Sunday, December 21st we will celebrate Christmas with our children. Please join in person service and also meet Santa in person. This annual celebration is special in the life of the church. We will not have Holy Eucharist this Sunday; if anyone wishes to have Holy Eucharist, please let me know after the service.
Christmas Eve Service: Our Christmas Eve Service will be on Wednesday the 24th at 7.00 pm. Please join us to sing Christmas carols and glorify our Lord.
Christmas Day Service is at 10.30 AM. Dec 25th. Join in person service with Holy Eucharist and be blessed.
Testimony Sunday: December 28th is the last Sunday of the year. We will not have Holy Eucharist on that Sunday; but we will have a time for testimonies. Please come to church and share God’s goodness to you in this year. I will be taking my last week of vacation for this year on Dec 28th Sunday. Nevertheless, will be available on the phone.
Watch night Service: Our Watch night service begins at 11.00 pm. It will be a solemn service as we journey together into 2026. We will have Holy Eucharist at the end of the service.
