Pastoral Epistle – Nov 12 2025
Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“Trust in the Lord, and do good. Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.” Psalms 37:3
Last Sunday we observed Remembrance Day! It was a great blessing to reflect on God’s blessings on us in this great nation, Canada. We had our Sunday School children share their thoughts on Remembrance Day. Our Lord calls us to dwell in the land that He has given us and feed on His faithfulness.
A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR LADIES: we enjoyed a great lunch on Sunday prepared by our ladies. The menu was great. It was a blessing to raise funds for the church.
Bible Study: This evening, Wednesday, November 12th we will have our Bible Study on Zoom at 7.30. Try to invite at least one friend to attend Bible Study.

Wine, Wisdom and Generosity: A call from our area bishop Kevin Robertson to talk about Legacy Giving. It’s happening tomorrow.
Date: Thursday November 13th. Time: 3 – 7 pm. Venue : St. John’s Norway. Parishioners are invited.
Fasting and Prayer: This month we will meet on Friday, the 21st at 7.30 pm at church for prayer. Please do all you can to attend and be blessed.
Fifth Sunday special service: November 30th we will have songs and testimonies. Please plan to share a testimony or sing a song. We will not have Holy Eucharist. The Youth will be leading the praise and worship.
Worship Leaders meeting: Last Sunday we were unable to have our leaders meeting as planned. We were called to help clean up the rectory. We will have our meeting at a later date.
THANK YOU everyone who helped clean up in freezing weather. I was amazed to see your enthusiasm for the Lord and His Church.
Christmas Cantata: Hope you received our upcoming Christmas Celebration flyer broadcasted yesterday, please pray fervently for this which is on Saturday, December 13th at 7:00pm Please forward the attached flyer to all your friends and personally invite them. It’s just a month away! Let us join and make it marvellous.
