THE MIND OF CHRIST

1 Corinthians 2: 6-16

The above scripture verses explain the blessings of having the mind of Christ.

1. The Mind of Christ is Not the wisdom of this ageSuperior   1 Corinthians 2: 6

The mind of Christ is superior to the wisdom of the world because scripture teaches that the wisdom of the world will become nothing.  The wisdom of the world will seem great; but the mind of Christ is superior.  Christ taught us to show the other cheek. He taught us to walk the second mile.  These things may seem like acts of cowardice; but those are acts of strength and victory.  When we live out our lives according to the mind of Christ, we are more than conquerors.

2.  The Mind of Christ speaks the wisdom of GodSafer    1 Corinthians 2: 7

Living our lives with the mind of Christ is safer.  The above scripture verse teaches us that when we have the spirit of Christ, we will experience the glory that is kept for us before the foundations of the world.

God has kept glory in store for his people. We can realize that glory and experience it when we have the mind to Christ.  Verse 9 says that what God has prepared for those who love Him, no eye has seen, no ear has heard and it is not even imaginable by the human mind.  So the best way of living is to live with the mind of Christ.  Those who develop the mind of Christ, learn to be calm even during a storm. They take refuge in God at all times.

3.  The Mind of Christ knows the things given by GodStronger   1 Corinthians 2: 12

Having the mind of Christ always leads to victory. The mind of Christ is opposite to the wisdom of the world. The wisdom of the world keeps changing according to the situations but the mind of Christ keeps us strong at all times. It leads us to victory. Shadrach, Mishak and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace, but there was a fourth person walking with them in the blazing fire. The fire had no power over them.  God revealed himself powerfully on behalf of these three young men because they were willing to pay any price to stand for their convictions.  God invites us to pursue to always have the mind of Christ because the mind Christ ultimately brings victory.

May God help us to always remember to have the mind of Christ.  Amen!
