Pastoral Epistle – Aug 21 2024

Beloved Congregation, 

Greetings in Jesus!

“Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.”  Jeremiah 32:17

Our God is mighty indeed.  He can do anything. So, we are encouraged to trust him with all our challenges and anxieties.  He will keep us safe in his arms. 

Church in the Park: praise the Lord for the perfect weather last Sunday.  We had a blessed day at the park with singing and edification, food and games. 

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the potluck lunch. The food was delicious. 

Centenary Celebration:  We look forward to our upcoming celebration.  Please pray for our planning team as we prepare for this memorable day.  Mark Saturday, October 19th 6.00 pm for our celebration. 

Special! Back to School prayer:  Next Sunday, September 1st please come prepared for special prayer for our children who will be going back to school and university.  

Non perishable food:  Kindly remember to bring non perishable food items when you come to church. Please encourage your children to be always mindful of the people in need.
