Pastoral Epistle – May 01, 2024
Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“The hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” John 4:23
Praise God for yet another month! As spring sets in, let’s begin this month worshipping the Almighty who has created these beautiful seasons for us to enjoy! Our Lord is seeking true worshippers who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. We are in the dispensation of grace where everyone who truly seeks God will receive the gift of His Spirit.
A Big Thanks to brother Jeffrey Isaac: Last Sunday we had a special info session for our Youth and Young Adults on Cyber Security. It was very informative and helpful for our younger generation. Jeffrey Isaac will lead another session for Adults on Sunday, June 2nd following the service.
Important Message about our Centenary Concert:
Due to unexpected circumstances, we have postponed our Centenary Concert with Clement Sasthriyar that was scheduled for May 11th. We will inform you when we come up with a new date for later this year. Sorry for the inconvenience. I thank each and everyone who has put in so much effort till now for this program. Kindly continue to remember all our Centenary programs in prayer.
Confirmation Service: Bishop Andrew Asbil, bishop of Toronto will be our chief guest, celebrant and preacher on Sunday, May 26th. Four of our younger generation parishioners will be confirmed. Kindly remember them in prayer.
Fasting and Prayer: Friday, May 10th at 7.30 pm at Church. Invite your friends. Join with your family and be blessed. We will break our Fast together after prayer.
Food Bank: Kindly continue to support helping those who are in need. Kindly bring nonperishable food items and drop them off at the church.
