Pastoral Epistle Feb 09, 2022
Beloved congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord”. Psalms 31:24
God’s call to us is to be strong and courageous. We can gain strength and courage only when we wait for the Lord. Let us take at least a few minutes every day to wait for the Lord.
We have received special exemption from our bishop to postpone our vestry to enable our treasurer to complete the accounts and the audit. He was unexpectedly detained in India due to Covid restrictions. Please pray that we will be able to do the needful and prepare for the year ahead.
We are prayerfully seeking volunteers to support the various ministries in church. Please let me know if you are willing to help in the midst of your busy schedule; we will try to find a suitable ministry for you.
Please continue praying for our seniors that God’s presence will be with them; that God, in His mercy will protect them and provide for them.
Please join and invite your friends to our Bible Study at 7.30 pm today Wednesday, February 9th.
Sunday Feb 20th, the long weekend of Family Day, if you are interested to come forward as a family and share a testimony or sing for the glory of God, please let me know.
Let us continue praying fervently for our Confirmands. Our confirmation Service is scheduled for Sunday, March 6th.
