Pastoral Epistle – June 2 2021
Beloved congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“This is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.” I John 3:23
These two aspects are highlighted in the above verse. Believe on Jesus’ Name and Love one another. We have received these as commandments. In such testing times, it is a challenge to keep on believing. Nevertheless, He is our only hope.
Upcoming Events in our Church :
VBS : This year we will have our VBS (Vacation Bible School) from Monday, July 12th to Friday, July 16th in partnership with St. Clair Evangelical Missionary Church. Please pray for God’s guidance as we plan our VBS. If you would like to volunteer to help in VBS please let me know.
SMP Training: We are planning to have our Sexual Misconduct Policy Training on Saturday, June 26th. Time : 10.00 to 11.30 am. All volunteers who are serving at St. Bede’s among vulnerable groups must take this training. Please contact Tine George or pastor for further information.
Faith Works: Our Diocese celebrates Silver Jubilee of the ministry of Faith Works this year. Our parish is looking forward to supporting the ministry of Faith Works up to $1800/- Please pray for God’s guidance as we pursue this ministry.
