Pastoral Epistle – April 5, 2023

Beloved Congregation,

Greetings in Jesus!

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we  have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭6‬ ‭

The greatest happening in human history!  God fulfilled His eternal plan for salvation from sin. Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour paid it all for us. May we enjoy our salvation every day of our life.  

We had a wonderful Palm Sunday Service.  Our deep appreciation for our children who brought delight to our service.  We are thankful to James, Ramya and Dilshani for training our children so well.  
It is Passion Week:  I encourage you to kindly invest some extra time in God’s presence.  Spend time to intercede for others. Spend some extra time to meditate on the Word of God.  May our Saviour be closer to you each day. 
Special Services this week: 

Maundy Thursday service:  Join us at 7.30 pm for in person service with Holy Eucharist and Stripping of the altar. https://youtube.com/live/HA5EuBiwgbw

Good Friday service:  We will meet at 10.30 am for in person service on April 7th.  We will meditate on the seven words of our Lord from the cross.  There will not be Holy Eucharist on Good Friday.  

Easter Service:  Kindly join us to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord at 10.30 am on Sunday, April 9th.  We are looking forward to an amazing service. 
I encourage each of us to pray fervently for these services.
