Pastoral Epistle-May 25, 2022
Greetings in Jesus!
“As for me, I trust in You, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.” Psalms 31:14
We are encouraged to continue to trust in our Lord whatever our situation may be. We will continue to acknowledge that He is our God. Everyone who trusts in the Lord will be blessed. They will never be put to shame.
Let us remember everyone who have been affected by the thunderstorm last Saturday.
Let us intercede fervently for the families who were devastated by the shootings in Texas. Innocent people are targeted for no reason. Such acts of senseless violence shakes even the foundation of who really we are. May the Lord graciously protect us from violence and grant us peace.
This Sunday we will celebrate the Ascension of our Lord. We will not have Holy Eucharist this Sunday; but we will have a time of songs and testimonies. If you would like to sing a song or share a testimony, please let me know.
Bible Study: Please join our Bible Study on Zoom on Wednesday (today) at 7.30 pm. You can use our regular Sunday Zoom link. We will continue our interesting study on the Gospel of John.
Advisory Board Meeting: This Thursday, May 26th our Advisory Board Meeting will meet. Please pray for God’s guidance as we seek God’s favour in all we do.
