Pastoral Epistle-May 18, 2022

Posted on: May 19th, 2022 by St. Bede Anglican Church

Beloved congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“The harvest truly is plenteous; but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”  ‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:2‬

There is much to do. The church has a big responsibility because labourers are few.  Everyone who is a follower of Jesus has a responsibility in spreading the Good News of the New Life in Jesus Christ.

This Sunday we continue celebrating Easter. We have only one week more before we celebrate the Ascension of our Lord on Thursday, May 26th.
We will begin celebrating Pentecost on June 5th.

Our Young Adults had a wonderful meeting on the 17th.  Please continue praying for our young adults and for our coordinator, Edith Sheryl for God’s blessings and guidance.

Here are the details to send your tithes and offerings.

Please continue praying for the various ministries of St. Bede’s.  The Church is the body of Christ.  Even through the pandemic season the Lord has enabled us to grow deep and wide.

There’s much to do.  Let us all work together for the extension of God’s kingdom.

Regards and blessings,
Pastor
The Rev’d  Dr. Irwin Sikha
