Pastoral Epistle – July 14 2021

Beloved congregation,

Greetings in Jesus! 
“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.”  Psalm 100: 4 

By God’s grace we are planning to reopen our church for in person service beginning this Sunday, July 18th. Service time: 10.30 am. We will follow our Amber stage guidelines as advised by our diocese.  Services will also be available on Zoom and YouTube live. Our service will include Holy Communion.  Please pre register at the earliest as we have limited seating.  We will wear a face mask and maintain social distance throughout the service.  Please pray fervently for God’s blessings on our services.

VBS : We are immensely thankful for our VBS volunteers who have been doing a super good job in various ways.  Our children are enjoying the VBS. We are also thankful to Pastor Tim Bryson of St. Claire Evangelical Missionary Church for his able leadership in coordinating the VBS. 
This week onwards we will have a summer break for our Sunday School, Youth Fellowship and Young Adults fellowship.  We’ll reopen in September. The Priest in charge will be on vacation for the first three Sundays of  August (Aug 1st, 8th & 15th).  Rev. Dr. Ravi Kalison will be the priest on call.  For pastoral emergencies please contact our wardens.

Please pray for God’s blessings as we reopen for in person service.  Please remember those who are unable to attend in person services.  
The Lord has been blessing our virtual house visiting.  It has been marvellous,  meeting families every week.  Please let me know if you need a virtual house visit.  I am also available for in person house visits. Please let me know.
