Pastoral Epistle – June 10 2021

Dearly beloved,
Greetings in Jesus!

I felt an urge in my spirit to remind ourselves that Jesus is coming back.
“Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24:44
Let us remember every day that we are one day closer to the return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. 
Hope you’re enjoying the pleasant weather.  We are also thankful that we are permitted to worship in person up to 15% of our seating capacity.  By God’s grace we must come out of this crisis at the earliest. 
This year our Clergy Conference was on the 8th & 9th. It was virtual; but lively and informative.  The theme was “How to lead a Liminal church”.  The focus was on leading when we’re not sure where we’re going.  It was relevant to our present situation. 

Please pray fervently for our VBS this year. July 12 – 15.  Please let me know if you can support our VBS in any way.  All sessions will be online. 

We will be conducting a Sexual Misconduct Policy Training on Saturday the 26th.  All volunteers serving among vulnerable groups in church must take this training.  Please contact our wardens or Tina if you have any questions.
