A MUSICAL EVENING WITH CLEMENT VEDANAYAGAM SASTHRIYAR
As we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Church of St.
Bede, we are excited to announce a special Centenary Concert
Spring of 2025

This event brings to the people of Ontario a blend of the rich musical
heritage of South India and western classical music. Featuring the
well-known Clement V Sasthriyar, popular for his renditions of
traditional Tamil Christian praise and worship songs (Keerthanais)
while expounding their meaning in English, the event promises to
provide mesmerizing music with a wide variety of accompaniments
including both classical instruments like the flute, Violin and
Tabla
and a modern backing band. The church of St. Bede is proud to bring
this celebrated South Indian musician to the diverse multicultural
population of GTA to celebrate its centenary year. Come join us for an
evening of Praise and Worship featuring Clement V Sasthriyar.
This is a free event and a free will offering will be taken for the
ministries of the church of St. Bede.
