Pastoral Epistle – April 01 2026

Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!

“How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them!” Psalms 139:17

We have entered yet another new month and we are journeying through the Holy Week. As we prepare ourselves for the passion of our Lord, He reminds us that His thoughts towards us are precious and numerous.

Thank you to everyone who visited O’Connor Seniors Home after the service on Palm Sunday. We distributed crosses made with palm leaves to the seniors and sang songs and prayed for them.

Maundy Thursday:  Please join in person service on Thursday, April 2nd at 7.30 PM.  We will have a solemn service of Stripping the Altar after Holy Eucharist.

Good Friday:  April 3rd at 10.30 AM.  We will meditate on the Seven Sayings of Jesus from the Cross.  We look forward to hearing Joel Irwin, Rachel Dharmarajah, Vijay James and Geetha Sekaran bring God’s Word to us.  Please join in person service and be blessed. 

Easter Sunday: April 5th at 10.30 AM.  Please join in person to celebrate the victory of our Lord with us. We will have Holy Communion following the service. 

Nothing compares with the joy that Jesus conquered death for us. 

Following the service we will have Easter Egg Hunt for children.  Gifts await!!

World Day of Prayer:  Please join us at Fatima Church (Adjacent to McDonald’s, on St. Clair/Victoria Park) on Saturday, April 25th at 11.00 AM to 12.30 PM. For further details please contact Viji Angela.  

An evening of Praise:  Saturday, April 11th 6:30pm, at Christ Church Scarborough.  Rev. Ravi Kalison has invited our church to present a musical evening, “Goodness of God” to celebrate their 180th anniversary. Please join and be blessed. Please see the attached flyer for details. Our Church will be leading praise and worship and special choir songs.

House Prayer Meetings: Please register for house prayer meetings according to your zone. The link to the excel sheet is shared in the Church WhatsApp group.

Please continue praying for all other special programs (flyer attached) in our church.  Also kindly remember all other ministries in prayer.
