Pastoral Epistle – November 1, 2023
Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“The righteous shall be glad in the Lord, and trust in Him, and all the upright in heart shall glory.” Psalms 64:10
We have just entered November and this is an encouraging verse from the Holy Scriptures. We are called by God to be covered by His righteousness. When we hold on to God, putting our trust in Him and live with integrity in our hearts, our Lord will cover us with His glory.
Thanks to everyone who supported the Inaugural Celebration:
We are still amazed at God’s goodness to us in every aspect of our Inaugural Celebration. Our Lord blessed us with good weather as well.
I am immensely thankful to each one of us who displayed deep commitment, looking into every detail of the celebration. The Lord richly reward you. We are looking forward to a year filled with rejoicing and thankfulness to our Lord.
This Sunday, Daylight Saving: We are approaching a new season. This Sunday we will remember to turn our clocks one hour behind. Enjoy an extra hour of sleep.
This Sunday, All Saints Day: Don’t miss Church this Sunday. Try your best to attend in person service as we remember the saints who have gone before us.
Donate and receive our Centenary Cups:
We have more of those beautiful cups with our new logo showing 100 years of God’s goodness to our church. For a donation of $5.00 or more you can have them. It will be a good testimony to use these cups in our homes.
Fasting and Prayer: Friday, November 10th:
Last month we experienced the outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit in our prayer meeting. Come with great expectation and the Lord will satisfy you from His abundance.
The prayer will begin at 7.30 pm. We will spend about two hours in God’s presence. Only in person! After Prayers we will break our fast together.
Prepare for the Advent Season: Let us begin praying for God’s blessings during this year’s Advent Season. I have drafted the advent calendar and once it is confirmed will be sending it to you.
