Pastoral Epistle-July 21, 2022

Beloved congregation,

Greetings in Jesus!

“Lord, You will light my lamp; The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.”   Psalms‬ ‭18:28
Our Lord will turn all our dark moments to light. Only God can bring light into our lives. Let us turn our eyes upon Jesus that we may receive his light.  Jesus is the light of the world. 

Glad to connect again after my vacation.  I am thankful to our leadership team who took care of everything in my absence.  I am thankful to Mrs. Rajini Lyman and Rev. Jennifer Schick for covering for me. I am thankful to Rev. Dean Mercer for being priest on call.

Let us continue to remember brother James and his family as they grieve the loss of his brother Josy Pothirajulu. 

Next Sunday, July 31st:  We have a fifth Sunday coming up. Please give your names to share a testimony or song.  Mrs. Rajini Lyman will cover for me.  Sister Viji Angela will lead the Song and testimony session. 

Church in the Park:  Sunday, August 14th we will meet at the park near our church at 10.30 am.  We’ll have a potluck fellowship time; so bring something to share with others.
