Pastoral Epistle – December 1, 2021

Beloved congregation,

Greetings in Jesus!
“The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is of the Lord.”   Proverbs‬ ‭21:31

We make many plans and we work hard to achieve many things.  But God’s Word encourages us that deliverance is of the Lord.  He has kept us as the Apple of His eye. We are thankful for the eleven months of God’s care over each of us.
As we enter this festive month of December, I pray and wish God’s provision for us and His glory to surround us.
Synod : You can access the November issue of  our  Anglican Newspaper for highlights of the 160th General Synod.

Outreach :
Please remember our Special Outreach Ministry. As our Outreach Coordinator has announced, this year we are calling for donations to support sponsoring Christmas gifts for a single mother and two kids. Jasmine, Jacob and Jessica-Marie who have provided their wish-list. We do this through Holiday Helpers.  We are also aiming at sponsoring 75 Christmas meals for the Neighborhood Group and Teesdale Food Bank for their Christmas dinner on December 23d. 
Please send in your donations before December 5th.
A Big Thank You to those who have already responded.  We have always tried to do meaningful Outreach.  Praise the Lord!
