Pastoral Epistle – Sept 18th 2024

Posted on: September 17th, 2024 by St. Bede Anglican Church

Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!

“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”
II Corinthians 1:20

We, God’s people are called to live by faith and not by sight.  We build our faith life by standing on the promises of God. When we receive God’s promise we hold on to it and we will experience God’s blessings; because all God’s promises are yes and amen in Jesus!

Pray for our seniors: I request all of us to remember our seniors in your prayers.  Some of them are lonely, weak and unwell.  The best we can give them is our fervent prayers from our hearts.

Centenary Celebration: I’m sure you have marked the date for our celebration, Saturday, October 19th 6.30 pm.  Please do your best to invite as many friends as possible and let us know the numbers. Our celebration service will conclude with dinner.

Sunday School – Youth – Young Adults will be focussing on preparing for special program for our Centenary celebration Event.  Kindly encourage them to attend regularly.

Next Bible Study: Our next Bible Study will be on Wednesday, September 25th at 7.30 on Zoom.  Kindly request for videos of lectures you may have missed.  Please confirm that you have listened to all the videos of our study on the Pentateuch.

Non perishable food:  Thank you for supporting our food program. Please continue to bring non-perishable food items. It will help many people who are in need.

We are most blessed when we trust God’s promises.  All His promises are for us that we may live in the abundance of God’s provision.
