Pastoral Epistle – October 4, 2023
Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“You have given a banner to those who fear You, that it may be displayed because of the truth.” Psalms 60:4
As we thank God for all His goodness towards us; we are reminded that God has prepared a banner on behalf of those who fear Him. It is the victory banner! The truth is; God fights the battles for those who fear Him.
Thanksgiving week: Let us spend some special time to be thankful for all blessings received from God. Every good and perfect gift is from above coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights. James 1: 17
Our SignBoard is ready: Following our service this Sunday, we will dedicate our signboard in front of the church to the glory of God!
Centenary Inaugural Service: Saturday, October 28th. Time: 5.00 pm. Archdeacon Cheryl Palmer will be the Celebrant and preacher. KIndly RSVP if you are planning to attend. Please pray fervently for God’s blessings on this event and the following events throughout the year.
Special Centenary Bible Study Certification Program: Prepare to join on Wednesday, October 11th at 7.30 pm on Zoom. We will begin with an overview of the Pentateuch.
Outreach Ministry: Our Sunday School and Youth Fellowship will collaborate with our outreach coordinator to plan special ministry to the needy during this Advent Season. Please look out for more details.
Order of the Diocese of Toronto (ODT): This is an award that our Diocese gives once in four years to a lay person who has shown exceptional contribution to the church. Look out for more details for the recipient from our church this year.
Come for in person service: I urge you to begin coming into the Sanctuary to worship our Lord and for fellowship. Nothing can substitute in person worship. Come and experience the difference.
