Pastoral Epistle – June, 21, 2023
Beloved Congregation,Greetings in Jesus!
“O Lord, we have waited for You; The desire of our soul is for Your name and for the remembrance of You.” Isaiah 26:8God calls His people to wait for Him with all our heart. When we are filled with His presence, our desire will be for the remembrance of His name.
Thank you to our ladies for the wonderful lunch on Sunday, Father’s Day. It was a nice service; so complete. Our children did a wonderful job of praising the Lord with songs. The video clip displaying our fathers with their children was simply superb. A big thank you to everyone who invested precious time and energy into this.
Pastor on vacation from June 29 to July 5th. Mrs. Rajini Lyman will lead the service. We will not have Holy Eucharist next Sunday, July 2nd. Rev. Ravi Kalison will be priest on call. Kindly contact our wardens for pastoral emergencies.
The Anglican Cricket tournament is on Saturday, July 15th. This year they have included other games as well for all age groups. Kindly contact brother Arun Benjamin for details.
Church in the Park is on Sunday, July 23rd. I encourage all our parishioners and friends to attend and make it a memorable day. We will meet at Regents Park on the northern side of our church.
