Pastoral Epistle – January 5, 2023

Beloved Congregation,Greetings in Jesus!“Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” Psalms‬ ‭118:1We are thankful to our Lord for His mercy towards us in 2022.  He has been good to us in the midst of all the challenges we have faced. His goodness and mercy will follow us as we journey through 2023.  
We are thankful for all the celebration services we had during the Advent Season and the New Year. We begin our regular services for all other ministries. Kindly pray fervently for God’s guidance as we journey together in the New Year.  Especially remember those who are unwell and need divine healing.  
We welcome our newest member, Mabel JoySpurgeon to our church.  May the Lord continue His goodness towards Spurgeon and Agatha as they nurture their child in the love and admonition of Jesus Christ.  
Get involved:  I invite you to prayerfully consider being involved in the ministry opportunities for this year. You can serve the Lord in various ways as an ambassador for Christ at St. Bede’s. Kindly feel free to contact me.  Bible Study:  our Bible Study will continue on Zoom on Wednesday, January 11th at 7.30 pm. We will continue our study from the Gospel of John.  
Sunday School resumes on January 8th.  We are thankful to all our volunteers who have done an overwhelming ministry among our children. 
Youth Fellowship and Young Adults meetings will begin as usual.  Kindly encourage your children to participate.  Our coordinators have been training our children to participate in church activities which is wonderful.  They will continue training in music, altar guild ministry, crucifer ministry etc.
