Pastoral Epistle – December 15, 2021
Beloved Congregation,Greetings in Jesus!
Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” Luke 1:46, 47
The angel’s message to Mary was not an exciting one; it was rather shocking and confusing. Nevertheless, Mary knew that any news from God will always be good news. However He leads us only for good. We may not always understand or see the bigger picture of God’s plan.
This Sunday, December 19th we will celebrate the fourth Sunday of Advent and remember the Love of our Lord. We celebrate God’s love with our Sunday School this Sunday. Do all you can to join in person.
Our special services for the rest of the month:
Friday, December 24 – Christmas Eve service with carols and Holy Communion at 7.30 pm.
Saturday, December 25 – Christmas Service 10.30 am with Celebration of Baptism for Ivan Davis Anand
Sunday, December 26 – Songs and Testimony Service. – 10.30 am
Friday, December 31 – 11.00 pm Watch night service. We’ll ring in the New Year with Holy Communion.
Sunday, January 2 – First Sunday of Epiphany 10.30 am with Baptism for Jacob
Wednesday, Dec 29th : Fasting and Prayer @ 7:30pm
Next Bible study will be on Wednesday, Jan 12th 2022.

Anonymous contribution: In memory of Blossom Yogasundaram who was called to rest in November 2021. Adored by all during her many decades at St.Bede’s till she and her husband moved to Winnipeg.
