Pastoral Epistle – Aug 05 2026
Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” II Corinthians 9:6
We have just entered a new month, August. This month is a month of preparation for new things to come. Our Lord calls us to be blessed by sowing bountifully that we may be rewarded bountifully.
Church in the Park: Is just two Sundays away on August 16th. Please pray for God’s blessings on our Park Service that we will shine in our community and spread the love of our Lord.
At the park, besides a meaningful service and music, we will also have a quiz for every age group on people in the Bible whose names were changed. So, start preparing for the quiz.
We will also have exciting events such as potluck lunch and games.
Tamil Isai Maalai: Please pray fervently for our Tamil singsong evening of classical and contemporary Tamil songs. This year our theme is “Ennalume Thuthippai”. “Praise God every day”. Please invite your friends for this eventful evening on Saturday, September 19th at 6.00pm followed by an exciting fellowship time.
Back to school preparations: Please pray for our children as they begin to prepare for a new school year. Pray for those who are preparing for their career. We will have a special prayer for our children on Sunday, September 13th. Please come with your backpack to church.
Fifth Sunday service: This month, Aug 30th, is a fifth Sunday. So, we will have a special time for songs and testimonies. Please plan to shine with your talents. We will not have a Holy Communion on fifth Sunday.
