Pastoral Epistle – July 01 2026
Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:10
We are given a simple strategy to rise up high. Just humble ourselves before our God. He sees our heart and He will lift us up.
HAPPY CANADA DAY!!
May we rejoice in God’s blessings as we contribute to the prosperity of this great nation. May our Lord keep Canada “The True North Strong and Free”
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He chose for His inheritance.” Psalm 33:12
Summer: Summer is well and truly here and comes with a bang! Please shade yourselves from the sun and heat if you are outdoors and be hydrated always. Some of us will be traveling. I assure you of my fervent prayers. Please keep me updated about your summer plans.
The Diocesan Cricket match is next Saturday, July 11th 9:00am to 3:30pm at Creditview Sandalwood Sports Complex, 10530 Creditview Rd, Brampton, ON L7A 0G2. Brother Arun Benjamin is training our youth for this match. Please come and support as you did for the Westney heights church match last Saturday!
Vacation Bible School: We are praying and preparing for our upcoming VBS / Summer Camp beginning Monday, July 13th to Friday the 17th. We need volunteers to support this valuable ministry. Please contact me or Dilshani if you can help. Even a day or two will mean a lot.
Family Retreat – July 25th, Saturday, 10:30am onwards at Toronto Centre Islands.
Please accept the event on our WhatsApp group so we will know the numbers to do the planning. Flyer is also attached. Please let us know if you are bringing guests. I will see if we can prepare a form for you to sign up.
Church In the Park : Aug16, 2026, at 10:30am at Regents Park, 115 Westbourne Ave
Let’s gather outdoors and worship the Lord, singing songs and meditating on His word. We will have a potluck lunch and wonderful fellowship with games. Please bring your lawn chairs.
