Pastoral Epistle – June 17 2026
Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
Our Lord describes himself as the vine and we, His branches. So, we understand that we have a very close relationship with our Lord. When we realize our relationship with Jesus, we will be fruitful in everything we do. Our Lord also reminds us that we need Him always to be fruitful.
Community Fair/Bazaar: We are delighted and thankful for our Community Bazaar last Saturday! We had a good number of people who visited. We were able to make some new contacts. Russell and Dilshani not only initiated this event; they also went around with family sticking flyers with balloons to create awareness. Praise God for their initiative. We are thankful to all our volunteers who contributed in various ways to the event. Above all, our Lord commanded super nice weather for us. Praise the Lord!
Father’s Day: This Sunday, June 21st 10:30am, we will include celebrating the lives of our fathers and father-figures in our lives. Our ladies are planning something special for us. Our Sunday School children will be presenting a special program. Please join in person service and be blessed.
The Diocesan Cricket match is coming up on July 11th . Please contact Jayachandran Solomon or Arun Benjamin for details.
VBS – July 13th to July 17th – Please forward the flyer attached to anyone who may be interested and also please post on your social media channels for awareness.
Family Retreat – July 25th, Saturday, 10:30am onwards at Toronto Islands.
I will create this event in our Church group soon. Please accept the invite so we will know the numbers to do the planning.
