Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“The Lord will give strength to His people. The Lord will bless His people with peace.” Psalms 29:11
We are halfway through this month. Time flies so quickly. Most of our days are filled with a tight schedule. In the midst of this our Lord has promised to give us strength and to bless us with His peace.
We are still reminiscing on the exciting celebration of Mothers Day at St. Bede’s. A BIG THANK YOU to our men who arrived at Church very early on Sunday morning and cooked a delicious meal for all of us. It has created a new wave of enthusiasm in the Church.
Bible Study – New Series: Please join today at 7.30 PM on Zoom to begin our new series of study on the History of the Early Church. Please recommend our Bible Study to your friends and invite them.

Pastor Vacation Week: I will be on vacation this Sunday May 17th. Vijay James has agreed to lead the service. Rev. Rajini Lyman will be priest on call.
Please contact our wardens for any pastoral emergency. Please pray for my family for God’s protection and blessings during our vacation.
Spring Cleaning: Please come prepared on Sunday, May 17th to have a fun filled Spring Cleaning session soon after service. Such services bring us closer in fellowship.
Fasting and Prayer: Please join in person for fasting and prayer meeting on May 22nd 7:30pm
Youth Special Service: Sunday, May 24th our youth and young adults will actively participate in the service as we celebrate the Day of Pentecost. Please join in person and enjoy a wonderful service
Fundraiser Food Festival, May 24th. This exciting festival is hosted by our men. Please invite your friends to join us and celebrate the ministry of the Church of St. Bede. Celebration will begin soon after service. Adults $15, children ages 5 to 12, $10; Come and enjoy a sumptuous meal of Dosa, Poori, Vadai etc. For further details please contact our wardens.
East End House Prayer: All parishioners and friends living in the East End please join us at GG and Viji’s house on Friday, May 29th at 7.30 PM. (A big thank you to James and Tina for hosting the West end house prayer last Friday. We have a good gathering and worshipped God with songs and testimonies and meditated on Psalm 2 and concluded with friendly fellowship)
Sunday for Songs and Testimonies: May 31st is the fifth Sunday of the month. It is the Sunday for our parishioners to share Songs and Testimonies. I encourage you to share what God has done for you and also praise our Lord with songs. We will also have Holy Eucharist on May 31st.
