Pastoral Epistle – May 06 2026
Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“You drew near on the day I called on You, and said, “Do not fear!”, Lamentations 3:57
Our Lord gives us a comforting promise. When we are pushed into a crisis, and cry out to God, He will draw close to us and will fill our hearts with courage by saying, “Do not fear.” May our Lord manifest His power in our family throughout this new month.
West End House Prayer: We will meet at James and Tina’s house for prayer this Friday, May 8th at 7.30 PM. Please contact brother James for details.
Mother’s Day: This Sunday, May 10th we will celebrate Mother’s Day at Church. Our men’s group will host our fellowship time. Join in person service at 10.30 AM and be blessed.
Bible Study: We have successfully completed the study on the book of ACTS. Thank you everyone who regularly attended it. If anyone wants the zoom recordings, please let me know, I can arrange them to be shared with you.
Our next Bible study will be on the “History of the Early Church”, starting from May 13th. 7:30pm on zoom. Please see the attached poster and please circulate among your friends if anyone is interested to join and be blessed.
Spring-cleaning day on May 17th after the Sunday service. Please join and give a helping hand to clean up and organize the church space.
Fasting and Prayer: Please join in person for fasting and prayer meeting on May 22nd 7:30pm
Fundraiser Food Festival, May 24th. This exciting festival is hosted by our men. Please invite your friends to join us and celebrate the ministry of the Church of St. Bede. Celebration will begin soon after service. Adults $15, children ages 5 to 12, $10; Come and enjoy a sumptuous meal of Dosa, Poori, Vadai etc. For further details please contact our wardens.
East End House Prayer: Friday, May 29th please join us at GG and Viji’s house for prayer at 7.30 pm.
Vacation Bible School: Please pray and plan to support VBS which will be from July 13 to 17. Please see the flyer attached for details.

Pastor Vocation: Pastor will be on vacation for Sunday, May 17th. Rev. Rajini Lyman will be priest on call. Please contact our wardens for any pastoral emergency. Vijay James will be the Service leader.
