Pastoral Epistle, April 8, 2026
Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus!
“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.” Psalms 30:11
The disciples were gripped with fear when Jesus was crucified on the cross; but when they saw our resurrected Lord they were filled with joy. When we experience the resurrection of our Lord, our mourning will turn into joy, and we will be clothed with gladness.
We had amazing Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Services.
Thank you to our four parishioners who preached on Good Friday.
Thank you to our choir director and our Choir for the special song on Easter Sunday.
Thank you to the Sunday school team for a great presentation on Good Friday! We also had an exciting Easter Egg Hunt for children. We had a good attendance from our neighbourhood. A big Thank You to Ramya for organizing it very well. Ramya also encouraged our children to collect grains of their choice to donate to the needy. It was glorious to see our children process to the altar carrying their grain offering.
Bible Study: Please join Bible Study this evening April 8th on Zoom at 7.30 PM. We will continue our study on the book of Acts.

Pastor vacation: I will be on vacation for Sunday, April 26th. Angela Viji will lead the service and pastor Lyndon Dojohn who serves the Lord with Global Aid Network will be the preacher.
Rev. Rajini Lyman will be priest on call. For any pastoral emergency please contact our wardens.
An evening of Praise: Saturday, April 11th 6:30pm, at Christ Church Scarborough. Rev. Ravi Kalison has invited our church to present a musical evening, “Goodness of God” to celebrate their 180th anniversary. Please join and be blessed. Please see the attached flyer for details. Our Choir and Music band will be performing so please keep them in your prayres.
Please also remember “World Day of Prayer” will be held at Fatima Church on Saturday, April 25th at 11.00AM. Please contact Sis Viji if you need more details.
Vacation Bible School: Please pray and plan to support this initiative of our church. VBS will be from July 13 to 17. Please see the flyer on the home page for details.
