Pastoral Epistle – April 19, 2023

Beloved Congregation,
Greetings in Jesus! 
“The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!”  ‭‭Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭34‬ ‭Our Lord rose from the dead; he appeared to over five hundred people; but He specifically appeared to the apostle Peter.  Peter had denied Jesus three times; but Jesus went after him to strengthen his faith.  Peter was transformed into an exceptional witness of His resurrection.  
Celebration of New ministry:  Thank you to all who have accepted to join us as we thankfully rededicate ourselves to the service of our Lord at the church of St. Bede. Date: Saturday, April, 22nd.  Time: 5.00 pm followed by dinner. All participants:  Kindly be at church at 4.00 pm for rehearsal.  Here is the Youtube link for those who are unable to make it in personhttps://youtube.com/live/Y4KEMEDJsrM

Priest Vacation : I will be on vacation April 25 to May 1st. Mrs Rajini Lyman will be the leader and preacher on April 30th and Rev. Ravi Kalison will be the priest on Call.
April 30th Fifth Sunday : If anyone is interested in singing a song or sharing a testimony on April 30th please let me know. . As I already shared, there will not be Holy Eucharist on that Sunday.
Pray for our seniors:  Kindly remember our seniors in prayer.  Our seniors support team will be doing all they can to support them; but we have a responsibility to pray for them.  
Bursary from our diocese:  Our diocese provides a Bursary for students entering University this year. Kindly let me know if you qualify for it.  Last date to submit is May 19th.
